The book
section on Decorative Arts and Antiques covers a
large area of design which includes basic interior
design and showhouses, but goes even further into
such areas as kitchens, wine cellars, baths,
bedrooms, and specialty rooms.
It breaks
down further into areas of contemporary and
antique tile, stained glass, fireplaces, lighting,
antique and vintage textiles, frames and boxes,
bells, kitchen antiques, corkscrews and openers,
salts and peppers, silverware, metalware, and
plastics.
An example of metalware is the
"blue book" called that by collectors which title
is The Book of Griswold & Wagner is
the most complete, accurate, and widely used
reference guide and is coveted by collectors. A
new 5th edition has been released which features
more pictures, updated values for cast iron
cookware and collecting enthusiasts, and
with expanded charts.
